THE PATH

How has the path of your inner life been so far? How would you describe it? 

Looking back, could you say truly say it has been filled with light, beauty and clarity, strewn with roses and bliss, that you know the path well and where it leads?

Might you rather describe it as somewhere in between rough and smooth, good and bad, light and dark sometimes one or the other but with no clear and precise direction or destination and you have always assumed this is the way it is meant to be, that we have no control over our paths? Maybe you are just nonchalantly, blindly or compelled to follow a path carved by others.b6t

Or could it be more correct and courageous to describe your path so far as disjointed and disorderly, haphazardly and hastily put together without any real thought as to destination, with no plan or regard for consequences?

Has it been constructed on a foundation of confusion and cunning, designed with deceit and dishonesty or paved with envy, empty wants and wishes?

Is it an endless maze of greed, envy, revenge and reprisal, piled up with bitterness and dashed expectations, littered with lies and lost dreams, overwhelmed with hostility spite and hate?  

Are you lost on a precarious path interlaced with webs of lies and cunning, draped with tangled vines of temptation, passing through swamps of seduction, steeped in howling darkness, filled with bumps and bruises, getting more frightful by the minute, are you lost on a desolate path leading to hell? 

Have you been traipsing along aimlessly without regard or consideration for past, present or future, no goals or purpose, just indulging in present pleasures, tainted with indulging in temptations, self absorbed and self centered, leaving behind a trail of regret, remorse, discontent, anger, disappointment and sorrow?

Do you plod along willfully, undependable and filled with distrust? Have your constant companions been anxiety and hollowness, with despair and suffering sidling up to you at every opportunity? 

Have vanity, arrogance, fear of the known and unknown, jealousy, unforgiveness  and hatred been lurking around you, and the path before you seems to loom ahead, fraught with ever more more darkness, uncertainties and peril?

Or, perhaps you are ambling along with no sense of direction or goal, following any path without question or examination.

You have wandered blindly here and there on varied wrong paths made by others, leading to endless difficulties and disappointing destinations, floundering about on dark and gloomy roads, now you are totally perplexed and lost, filled with hidden anguish.

Maybe you feel like you have come to standstill, that for a very long time now, there's been a barrier in your path blocking your progress to something you feel is better on the other side but you just don't seem able to surmount it. You don't have the knowledge, power or ability to cut through, cross the line, climb over the hill, through the gate, over the dome. Something is holding you back.

You know how treacherous your path has been so far and you no longer wish to tread it, Now you long for a better path and you are willing to take a chance to risk it all even though you are not sure where the new path is leading so long as its different from where you have been.

You have finally admitted to yourself after many bumps and bruises, that the path you are on is filled with the darkness of distrust and disappointment leading to despair and despondency. It is fraught with danger and death and you must get off before its too late. Now you sense this keenly but you do not have the courage or strength to leave the path, and even if you did you would not know how to escape, it seems there is no way out.

Well, you do not have to remain stuck or lost on dangerous, confusing and undesirable paths. Help is at hand to help you change the course of your life for the best. 

This site can be seen as that help, a pointer to a lighted path, a path which if followed longingly, diligently and independently with open heart, mind and alert spirit, will surely guide you to fulfilment of your soul's yearning to find true freedom, lasting peace and deep-seated happiness.
